Gramophone Art Festival to bring the city alive

Lucknow: Under the patronage of the Usha Mahesh Foundation, Parul’s Gramophone is set to host the Gramophone Art Festival on February 1, from 12 noon to 9:00 PM, at the Sangeet Natak Academy. Designed as a one-day celebration of creativity, the festival aims to bring forward hidden artistic talent—especially individuals who may not have had the opportunity or platform to express their creative abilities.

The festival will offer a rich mix of artistic expressions, including literary discussions, handcrafted works, recycling-based art, and culinary competitions that revive and reinterpret traditional recipes. Visitors can also engage in music, dance, and theatre performances, along with hands-on creative workshops such as Mandala Art, Resin Art, Embroidery, Crochet, Knitting, and Baking, making it an immersive experience for participants of all ages.

A major highlight of the event will be the cultural performances held at the Shri Sant Gadge Auditorium, beginning at 5:45 PM. These performances will feature artists between the ages of 45 and 80, presenting a lively fusion of folk, classical, and Bollywood art forms. Entry to the auditorium performances is ticketed and available via BookMyShow.

The outdoor lawn area will remain open to the public free of charge, offering a vibrant marketplace featuring food stalls, handloom products, jewellery, apparel, and home décor items, adding a festive charm to the experience.

Blending creativity, culture, cuisine, and tradition, the Gramophone Art Festival promises an enriching and soulful experience for visitors across generations.
